I apologize for the lateness of this post--I've had trouble at home with both my internet and my car.
For Nosferatu, you should be able to describe how different scenes and images exhibit conventions of German Expressionism.
You should also be able to talk about what kinds of archetypal characters Hutter and Ellen are.
Finally, you should be able to discuss changes in cinematography.

The basic plot of Breathless: Lujack is a crook who steals cars, robs people of their money, and becomes a murderer. The movie begins with Lujack stealing a car and being pulled over by police for speeding. During this confrontation, Lujack kills the police officer and then returns to the woman he loves, Monica. Lujack continues to steal cars and hide from the police, while Monica tries to determine her love for him. Monica eventually decides to tell the police about Lujack's activites, and Lujack, tired of hiding, stays in place until the police arrive. He runs from the police as they arrive, and the police, in turn, shoot Lujack in the back. While he laying dying, Lujack says his last words to Monica, and Monica leaves the scene. Similiar to the movie Casablanca, Breathless is based upon the life of a criminal. The resolution of the movie leaves the viewer feeling sad, but strange at the same time. The ending, although depressing in nature, was comical and confusing. The viewer is left with the feeling that Monica did not truly love Lujack.
